The wind has picked up quite a bit from the last visit. The crickets have died down a ways as well. This very well could be due to the increase of the wind, but also the colder weather. I can still hear the leaves in the wind just as much as the last visit, they have not began to fall yet.

 4:27 November 17 36ºF Cloudy and dreary conditions  9 hours 47 minutes  The weather conditions have changed quite a bit from the last visit. It has already snowed! I tend to keep my expectations low for first snow of the year just so I don't disappoint myself, but I don't have to worry about that. We got the mass majority of the snow on the 12th and 13th. By now since the ground is still somewhat warm it has begun to melt already, but we expect more later this week. The temperature has also changed quite a bit from the las visit, dropping as much as 20 degrees. Aside from a few cars out in the distance and a bit of wind there is almost no noise coming from the nature. By this time almost all if not all of the insects have moved out for the winter and the birds have migrated. My guess is that even if we get a few more warmer days this will be it until next spring.
